The city of Macksville is seeking to hire a full time Utility/Maintenance Worker.
Applicants must be 21 years of age, have a high school diploma/GED, a valid drivers’ license and be able to pass a background check. Applicant will be required to attend training for part time law enforcement as well.
Wages will be based upon qualifications and experience with a starting wage of $15 per hour. Applicant must be able to obtain KDHE Level 1 Water and Small Systems Sewer Operator certifications within 18 months of hire date.
Pay raise with completion of certifications.
Benefits include insurance reimbursement up to $500 per month with proof of coverage, KPERS, paid sick time, holiday pay and paid vacation after 6 months of employment.
